It is a well know fact that Brian K. Vaughan has the Midas touch.
It is a well know fact that Brian K. Vaughan has the Midas touch. With astounding works like Runaways, Y: The Last Man, Ex-Machina and the most recent Saga, people can’t help but buy his works with high hopes and for myself at least he has never disappointed. So when it was announced that he and famed artist Marcos Martín would be working together again (see Doctor Strange: The Oath) on a new creator owned comic my excitement began to kick in.
So far they have merely teased us with three images, each posted to a different site.
Hopefully we will know more about this project soon but so far this is all the world seems to know and yet it was plenty to grab my attention.
UPDATE
In a twist that has surprised us all the recent teaser images for the new Brian K Vaughan and Marcos Martin project weren’t teasers for long. Only a few hours since they hit the web and already we have not only the reveal but the full release.

Coloured by Munsta Vicente the title of this series is “The Private Eye” and is available now as digital PDF, CBR, or CBZ with both a positive and a negative to that. The negative first being that there are no plans to ever release this in a hard copy format meaning no way to add it to your collection. The positive being that you can “name your price” with no minimum, but please let’s not use this as an excuse to skimp. The profits made from this issue will fund the next in line so we need to ensure that happens.
