This is a Kitty Pryde issue, which is great because it feel’s like it’s been ages since we last checked in on her and the school. The issue focuses on Kitty as she goes on a date with Phoenix Five’s Colossus.

This is the issue where we see Colossus show his teeth
The Positive
This is the issue where we see Colossus show his teeth (not literally, but he does smile which is kind of weird) and when he threatens Kitty when he doesn’t get his way, we finally see how corrupted the Phoenix Five have become. Kitty shows great character and strength as she stands her ground and defends the school against possible attack knowing very well that Colossus can destroy here with the flick of his wrist.

The Negative
That there isn’t more Kitty Pryde centered stories in Wolverine and the X-Men.

Doop has some words of advice that we should all take note of!
The Verdict
Another tie in that’s light on action but heavy on character interactions and past histories, the issue won’t be for everyone but if you are a fan of Kitty Pryde or Wolverine and the X-Men you will enjoy this one.
